FEDERAL TAX CREDIT (IRA)
Up to 30% credit on qualifying heat pump systems—up to $2,000 per home—under the Inflation Reduction Act.
ENERGY TRUST OF OREGON
(For PGE, Pacific Power, NW Natural, Cascade, Avista customers): Up to $1,000 for ducted heat pumps, Up to $800–$1,800 for ductless systems, especially for income-qualified households.
OREGON HEAT PUMP PROGRAMS (ODOE)
The state is distributing $24 million in grants to help homeowners and rental properties upgrade to heat pumps, including community and rental home–focused rebate tracks.
LOCAL UTILITY REBATES (PGE/NW NATURAL, CLARK PUD, ETC)
$200 instant rebate for ductless installations via PGE-approved contractors
Additional $250–$1,000 cash-back rebates depending on system efficiency and existing heating sources
Financing & Loan Support
Through Oregon’s HOMES and HEAR programs, low- and moderate-income households can cover 50–100% of approved retrofit projects (up to $10k–$14k total)
Interest-Bearing/Zero-Interest Loans
